INITIATIVE:

ISABELLA GRAPE

At Casa Domecq, we strive to be a socially responsible company, focusing on sustainability, support for small producers, and social transformation. Through our Isabella Grape initiative, we acquire Isabella grapes from local small producers.

We maintain constant communication with them, providing technology and knowledge to improve the quality and efficiency of the harvest. This way, we strengthen local communities and promote economic and social development.

SOCIAL PROJECT:

QUIMBAYA
ARTESANAL

According to the Panela Federation, more than 20,000 artisanal rural mills in Colombia sustain over 250,000 families dependent on panela sales.

Our Quimbaya Artisanal Rum project aims to inspire panela farmers to produce virgin syrups for fermentation and subsequent distillation of artisanal rums. Small quantities of rum are already being produced in various locations across the country, to be bottled separately according to their origin. Many of them come from conflict zones or indigenous reserves, providing a diversity of rums with distinct aromas resulting from different sugarcane varieties and the geographical location of the mill.

This project aims to improve the quality of life for many rural families dependent on sugarcane and the rural mill.
