Mouton Cadet wines are crafted from a blend of selected wines from the Bordeaux region in France. They are then aged under the supervision of the company’s viticulturists and bottled at the Mouton Cadet Winery. Part of the Baron Philippe de Rothschild wine group, Mouton Cadet wines represent a legacy of excellence in winemaking that has endured for generations.

VARIETIES: 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon

COLOR: Bright violet with black reflections

NOSE: Elegant and complex, blending aromas of red fruits such as raspberries and cherries, black fruits such as blackberries, and spices like saffron and vanilla

PALATE: Elegant tannins evolve into a vibrant finish with rich and balanced oak notes

SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16 -18°C

PAIRING: Red meats, hams, and semi-mature cheeses
